A Fashionable Wednesday - Met Gala 2013

M E T   G A L A   2 0 1 3

The theme for this year's ball was Punk: Chaos to Couture and the outfits definitely reflected this. 

Held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Monday night, 

it is fashion's biggest red carpet event of the year.

But I struggled this year to define who I really liked and who I didn't! 

I was left feeling "I think I like it!"

It's Wednesday and that means fashion! 

I haven't even had a chance to have a good look through the blogs

 discovering everyone's best dressed for the Oscars and I'm not going to do a big post 

about it here but I have to say my pick for the night was ....

A Fashionable Wednesday - Golden Globes 2013

The first Fashionable Wednesday for the year and what a better way to start off with the Golden Globes.

It's in only 2 days since the Globes happened and it is a blogosphere darling so sorry if you are over it
but you know I love a good red carpet round up.

 This Dior gown was the perfect fit for Jennifer. 

Wasn't sure about the colour at first, but no I love it.

Jessica Alba in Oscar De La Renta

 Again not sure about the colour here but it does look lovely with Jessica's skin tone. 

She looks the epitome of Hollywood glamour - hair, make-up, accessories, all of it

Naomi Watts in Zac Posen

 Such a sexy dress that is all covered up, love it and Naomi too looks very old Hollywood glamour.

Miranda Kerr in Zuhair Murad

 So flattering with the white and the gold at the top, I love this

Emily Blunt in Michael Kors

It's that time of year again - The Oscars. I love the Oscars, to me it still feels like old Hollywood Glamour. These are my favourite red carpet looks for this year :

Yes, I love this dress. The detailing at the top also features on the back. This is the type of dress I would wear

I really like this, it's quite pretty but I can't help but think she looks a little older than she really is!


Maggie Gyllenhaal in Dries Van Noten
Now I like this because well she looks great. But she is wearing Dries Van Noten which in all honesty isn't the easiest label to wear but she pulls it off beautifully

LOVE Sam and he looked hot especially when he put on his glasses - YUM! His girlfriend looks lovely too

Nicole always looks good to me, I love her style. I know this is debatable to many but that's just my opinion. I think they look good together.

Ok so this has nothing to do with my house of even interiors but it does Fashion!

Yesterday was the Golden Globes and I love to see what they stars are wearing on the red carpet.

Emily Blunt hands down was the best dressed of the night, she looked beautiful. And how gorgeous is her pale pink Dolce & Gabbana dress.
