Can you help me ... Please?

Working on Our Little Place is something I am enjoying so much.
I get lost for hours searching and securing beautiful titles,
only problem is there are sooo many titles I want to buy but I must remain true to
the core values of Our Little Place and that is not to have just a really
high number of inventory and random titles that starts to detract from the
purpose of a beautifully carefully selected catalogue of titles.

But I'm reaching out to you, I'd love to hear what titles you think I should have in the store?

Is there something that I am just missing as apart of the collection?

Should there be a new category of books I should have in the store?

Or is there something I have in the store and you think "What the ... ?" !!

You all are such a stylish group with a love interiors, fashion, travel
and general lifestyle so you are THE people to ask?
Be open and honest as I appreciate all opinions.

So in case you've missed it, click here to go direct to the Our Little Place store.

I would love if you could leave some feedback below or join me on Facebook and leave a comment there.

Thank you all in advance, I can't wait to hear your thoughts

Martyn Lawrence-Bullard + Twitter

Today's post is in two parts.

First let's look at the gorgeous home of actress Stacey Dash as decorated by
Martyn Lawrence-Bullard on this weeks episode of Million Dollar Decorators.

So gorgeous and making wanting to make my new colour scheme for my home
grey and a perfect shade of purple.

Second part is I recently jumped on the twitter trail.
It took me awhile to get on board with twitter, don't know why maybe it was just the fear of the unknown.
But I felt that it was important to utilise this form of communication for my new business, Our Little Place.

So last night after I finished watching Million Dollar Decorators, I sent a tweet out just to say how much I loved it and Martyn's work - you know what it's it's like in this social media world, you  just put it out there!
Well I was so surprised to get a  tweet back from the man himself -
Martyn Lawrence-Bullard !
I was so happy.

For those of you who have got to know me, know that these little events and actions
in my life just get me a wee bit excited, hehe

Instagram

I was chatting with a friend yesterday about the world today of social media.
Whether it's for personal or professional use, there are so many ways to keep in touch with people.
And we are all connected to it in some form or another.

I definitely like to engage in a few different types of social media. So far, I have Facebook for my personal use (I don't have one for the blog yet), I write two blogs as a place to share what I love and inspires me plus to meet like minded people out there. I don't do twitter though, I just can't wrap  my head around it for some reason. But my latest obsession past time is Instagram.

I've had an Instagram account for sometime now and posted a few pics here and there privately but I was bored one night and started flicking through it again - hello the beginning of another love!

So many great images out there, it's like going to your own personal art gallery full of random photo's.

If you're interested follow me on Instagram, it's simply myfirstlittleplace.

Do you enjoy and/or use Instagram?
Please tell me the name of your profile so I can follow along.

Facebook HQ

It's the social networking phenomenon that is taking over the world - FACEBOOK! Most of us check it everyday, but did you ever wonder what their headquarters looked like? Well not surprisingly I did!

Just what every workplace needs - decks in the corner and skate ramp outside!

What do you think?
