Don't you love this tray? It's Made By Girl, Jen's latest addition and it looks great. So when I read on to see where she got it from, I was not surprised! I myself had only emailed Sue over at the Zhush this week to see if she was shipping to Australia yet. Sadly the answer is no, for now. 

Fingers crossed in the near future but if she did at the moment, I would be in trouble with these ...

Cute Home - Bright Beach Cottage

This post on Apartment Therapy has jumped out at me today. 

Not only because it's such a cute little beach cottage but because it is shared by two very stylish ladies. I have been talking with one of my friends this week about the possibility of sharing a place together when my time in Cairns is up ( if all goes well and I can move to where I want to in the right time frame!) and so this little place meant something a little bit different for me.

The style : Relaxed, beachy bungalow with a little glamour mixed in

 What a great idea to have a raised dining table and bar stools as the chairs, totally cool concept

 The girls are interiors designers / surfers / bloggers which I think is very much summed up in this photo don't you think?

Wish me luck ...

Over the last 2 weeks I have been experiencing some major issues with sleep! 

I just cannot fall asleep and don't really know why. It doesn't matter if I've been up very early and done a day at work, I just cannot get to sleep at night and it's slowly been creeping up first it was around 2am, then 3am, then 4am and last night 5am - I am not kidding! 

So I went out today to buy some of these and pray that they help me tonight! I normally hate taking tablets for sleeping as I just think they may help you go to sleep and sleep throughout the night but you will wake up feeling all drowsy. But I'm so desperate, I will give anything a go!

Do you have any fail safe methods of beating insomnia?

Celebrity Workspace - Drew Barrymore

I'm revisiting the office of Drew Barrymore today. 

Her production company, Flower Films was designed by Ruthie Somers and featured in our now defunct bible, Domino a few years back.

I don't know how conducive the space would be for me to work in, I think I'd rather just have people there all day and just hang out!

Bedroom cool ...

 

I am crushing on this bedroom space. 

I'm kind of surprised that I do like it so much as you can see the punch of primary colours in there which I am normally not that mad on. But they really work in this space. 

This is what else I'm loving :

1. The low ceiling painted out in white, looks cosy and not claustraphobic.
2. Cleverly disguised flooring. The terracotta tiles have been covered up for both aethestics and to still bring some warmth into the nedroom.
3.  That yellow chair is crazy cool
4.  The blue headboard in what appears to be velvet - yes!

Jamie Bush & Co

I love looking at works by designers who push my boundaries. I'm quite conservative in my style so interestingly I respond well to designers who use lots of colour, great shapes, textures and patterns. One of those designers is American designer Jamie Bush. There are many homes he has designed that I love, but I'm feeling this one today ... 

Jamie designed this mid century Brentwood residence for a former studio head and her family.

I love it!
